Privacy policy
What we collect
Your sign-in details (an email address, phone number or Google account) and your profile: name, username, photo, bio and link. If you offer consultations, also your profession, qualifications, fields, languages, price and hours. We keep your bookings, requirements, reviews, follows, messages and the clips you post.
What others can see
Your profile — name, username, photo, bio and link, and for professionals their professional details, price and rating — can be seen by anyone, including people who aren't signed in. With a private account, only people you approve see your clips and who you follow. You choose who can start a chat with you in Privacy.
Payments and payouts
Payments are processed by Razorpay; your card and bank details go to them, not to YoPro. We keep what you paid, when, and for which session. Professionals give us a bank account, PAN and, if registered, GSTIN for payouts; only a masked version is ever shown back.
Calls
Calls are encrypted and go straight between your two devices. When a direct connection isn't possible, they pass through an encrypted relay that can't see or hear them. Calls are not recorded.
Call details
To connect calls and settle sessions fairly, we keep when each of you joined, connected and left, and how the connection performed (such as delay and lost data) — never what's said or shown. Messages and files shared in a call's chat are kept with the session for both of you.
Verification
The ID and credentials you send to be verified are stored privately, seen only by our review team, and never shown on your profile or linked publicly.
Activity and notifications
When you view a profile or clip, it's counted for that person's dashboard; they see totals, not who viewed. If you turn on notifications, we keep this device's notification token to send them.
Safety
Reports are anonymous and reviewed by our team. Blocks are private: the person you block isn't told.
Who processes your data
Google Firebase runs our accounts, database, file storage and notifications. Google Analytics measures visits and how the website and app are used; on the website it uses cookies to do that. Razorpay processes payments. When a direct connection isn't possible, a call is relayed, encrypted, through our relay server.
Your choices
Change your profile at any time in Edit profile, your account privacy and message settings in Privacy, and which notifications you get in Notifications. You can delete your account yourself in Delete account (see yopro.in/delete-account); records of bookings, payments and earnings are kept for tax and disputes.
