Common questions
Find a professional on Home, open their profile, pick a time, describe what you need help with, and pay. Your slot is held for 10 minutes while you pay.
Some professionals offer their sessions for free. You book the same way, but there's nothing to pay. They still accept your requirement before the call, and you can cancel any time before it starts.
To YoPro, not the professional. We hold it until you confirm the session helped, then pass it on. See Terms and policies → Payment protection.
Once the professional has accepted your requirement, open Sessions. The Join button appears 5 minutes before the start time. You'll also get a reminder. If the call drops or you step out, join again the same way — the session stays open until 10 minutes after its end time.
If they never join, or the call never connects, you're refunded in full automatically once the session time is over.
They read your requirement before the call. If they decline, or don't accept before the start time, you're refunded in full automatically.
Tap No when Sessions asks if it helped, and tell us what went wrong. Your payment stays held while our team reviews it. If the professional didn't have the expertise they claimed, you're refunded.
Cancel free of charge up to 12 hours before the session and you're refunded in full. Later than that, it isn't refunded. If the professional cancels, you're always refunded in full.
Earnings show as held until the client confirms, or 72 hours pass without a complaint. Then they're released and paid to the bank account in Payout details. YoPro keeps 20%.

It means our team checked the person's ID and professional credentials — a licence, registration or degree. Request it from the three dots on your profile. Being an approved professional and being verified are separate.
Open their profile and tap the three dots. Reports are anonymous. Blocking stops them following or booking you and hides them from your search.
No. Calls are encrypted and go straight between your two devices. When a direct connection isn't possible, they pass through an encrypted relay that can't see or hear them. Calls are not recorded.
